hello!I am an early career scientist, researcher, outdoor enthusiast, and conservationist.

my science
I research the relationships between infectious pathogens and parasites and their wildlife hosts by applying mathematics, statistics, and ecological theory. Specifically, I focus on how aspects of host sociality, predator-prey relationships, and wildlife management affect disease dynamics.

In the Fall of 2020, I earned my PhD at Penn State University in the Ecology Program, advised by Dr. Peter Hudson. I then began a post-doctoral research position with Dr. Wendy Turner at the University of Wisconsin. I primarily study potential management strategies for chronic wasting disease in deer, and the effects of pathogen infections in gray wolves.

My goal is to conduct research that addresses conservation needs & helps protect species and landscapes.
